Private investigations — Tracing people
Tracing missing or out-of-contact persons in the Netherlands
When a relative, acquaintance or other person has disappeared from view, targeted enquiries may help identify current leads or possible whereabouts. Dutch Detective Agency combines digital research and desk research with local enquiries where necessary and suitable.
The investigation uses lawfully accessible digital sources, follows and verifies relevant leads and may be supplemented by targeted field enquiries where needed. Personal, financial or business reasons may give rise to a tracing instruction.
In an acute disappearance, immediate danger or suspected criminal offence, contact the police or emergency services first.
The outcome is reported to the client within the scope of the instruction and applicable law. Whether contacting the person sought forms part of the instruction is discussed in advance.
