Rotterdam is our base: a port city with an international business community, a large expat population and short travel times to the rest of the Randstad. From here we conduct investigations across the country.

Travel time determines how quickly fieldwork can begin and what an investigation costs, so coverage is part of every written plan of action.
South Holland and the Randstad
The Hague, Delft, Leiden, Dordrecht, Gouda, Utrecht and Amsterdam are within daily reach, which makes multiple observation windows on one file straightforward to plan.
Nationwide coverage
From Groningen to Maastricht. For files outside the Randstad we agree travel time and cost in advance, so the cost framework stays fixed.
Cross-border matters
For international clients, Dutch Detective Agency carries out investigations in the Netherlands. Communication and reporting are available in English.
Contact and meetings
First contact can be made by email, contact form or telephone. A personal meeting is possible by appointment at a neutral location in Rotterdam. We publish no visiting address, to protect the confidentiality of visitors.
Licence and supervision
We operate under licence POB 1758 issued by the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, and are bound by Dutch private investigation legislation and the applicable privacy code of conduct.
Working with clients abroad
Many of our instructions come from outside the Netherlands: private clients who moved abroad, foreign employers and insurers, and law firms handling a Dutch element in a wider case. The structure is the same in each: first contact at a distance, execution on the ground here, reporting in English.
We explain in plain terms what Dutch law allows a private investigator to establish and where the limits sit, because those limits differ from other jurisdictions. That conversation happens before an assignment starts, not after.
